01The brief

Theo10 is a Singapore skincare start-up, and its range keeps growing in different directions: sleep sprays, mists and scrubs, a green tea skincare line and an oral supplement. They sit in different bottles, at different sizes, for different moments in the day.

The job: give every line its own look, and keep every pack clearly Theo10, so that someone who knows one product recognises the next.

02The constraints

  • The leaf mark and the THEO10 wordmark go on every pack, whatever its shape.
  • Very different packs: trigger sprays, pump bottles, a jar and a carton, from 30 ml to 250 ml.
  • One naming order, so a customer reads the brand first, then the product, then the scent or key ingredient.
  • The supplement carton has to carry directions, warnings, storage, ingredients, batch and expiry, a barcode and a QR code, and its front still has to sell.

03What I did

One leaf, one order. The THEO10 wordmark sits in the upper half of every pack, with the leaf mark above it on most and small near the base on the green tea line. Underneath, the words follow the same rough order: product name, what it does or what it smells of, then size.

Colour and a picture for each line. Sleep Spray keeps a cream label and gives each scent a round badge with its own flowers. The mists and scrubs go on plain white bottles, each with a coloured icon and a matching line along the bottom of the label: blue, teal, pink and purple. The green tea line uses tinted green bottles with the name in white.

Seen as a family. Each line was laid out as a rendered group shot, the kind used for packaging reviews and marketing. Seeing a whole line together shows quickly whether it still looks like one brand.

04A carton, front and back

The Immunity Booster is the one carton in the set, so it has two jobs on two faces. The front is for the shelf: the leaf and name on white, an orange wave rising from the bottom, the words “Oral Health Supplement”, a shield icon and the size. The back is for the small print: directions, warnings, storage and active ingredients sit in black-headed panels, with batch and expiry, a barcode and a QR code below.

Orange sets it apart from the green and pastel lines. The leaf, the wordmark and the white base keep it in the family.

05The result

  • 12 productsin four lines, all with the Theo10 name and leaf mark.
  • 1 leafon every pack, from a 30 ml carton to a 250 ml spray.
  • 2 sidesof the Immunity Booster carton shown: one to sell, one to inform.
The leaf and the name stay; the look follows the product.
